Describe your career, your platform, or what makes you you?
I am a champion of people first, and really strive to connect people with opportunities. I was given an opportunity early in my career and feel that as I elevate my job is to look back and pull those that come behind me up in their career progression. I am always using my platform to elevate others to be seen and ensuring that I am leaving all places and people better than I found them.
Do you have any habits or disciplines that you’ve developed that helps keep you motivated?
I have learned to understand my personal rhythms and times that I am the most productive. I know personally that I am the best at problem-solving when I am fresh in the morning, so I leverage that time for things that need extra attention or a time for a brain storm while I am working out. When I am feeling like I am having a problem finding a solution, I will get out in nature and call someone on my board of directors to problem solve. When all else fails, I listen to a podcast or an audiobook
What are you most proud of in your personal life and in your career?
I am most proud of always being able to adjust no matter what life has thrown at me. I have still managed to always find time for professional growth and progression no matter what the season is in my life.

How do you identify key individuals with whom you need to build strategic relationships? Has UPWARD been a platform to helping you build these necessary relationships?
